The Gadabout has successfully toured to well over 50 cities coast-to-coast in the past 5 years. Every year the Gadabout collects film submissions from filmmakers all over the world, and creates a program that is extremely impressive and diverse. Although focusing on shorter, humor based films, the selection is not limited to just that. The films are thought provoking, fresh, funny, and be autiful to look at. These filmmakers love what they are doing, and their work shows it.
This years program has been describe as the GadaboutÕs best to date.
Making friends every year, this tour is more about community then anything else. Incorporating music, art, and education to the festival, the Gadabout celebrates the diverse talents in the D.I.Y. and independent arts communities. This year, festival director, Eric Ayotte will be performing a short set of acoustic music before the films. www.purevolume.com/ericayotte
The Gadabout is not a competition, rather a celebration of independent media and art.

Eric Ayotte:
Eric Ayotte is a DIY filmmaker who has
completed countless short films and video projects. From directing to editing, producing to acting, Ayotte has
been involved in all aspects of the process. Being frustrated with the options for truly independent
filmmakers, Eric created the Gadabout Traveling Film Festival to distribute and
showcase indie films while traveling across the country, believing that
DIY/guerilla filmmaking is not just another step to really "making
it," rather a genre in itself.
