We are always looking for new places interested in hosting the Gadabout
Traveling Film Festival. For colleges we are putting together a
program that makes the event more academic. We are willing to come
to classes, or have a time set aside before or after the event for
questions and an open dialogue about indie film. We will also be
bringing along more films that might not have made it into the fest,
and discussing some of the films shown.
10th ANNUAL GADABOUT FILM FEST!! The Gadabout celebrates it's 10th year with a big weekend festival screening over 100 short films. Bloomington, IN, October 8th-9th 2011. More info and schedule coming soon.
We are now doing a monthly short movie challenge called Instant Gratification. Each month there is a theme, and participants have to make a 5 minute or LESS movie with that theme.

9TH ANNUAL GADABOUT TRAVELING FILM FESTIVAL
Next up, we are heading down to Gainesville, FL at the end of October to screen a program at The Fest 9. This years program will feature a "Best of" selection from our monthly movie challenge, as well as fine batch of films submitted from all over.
We have successfully completed several smaller tours this year, including a program screened at the 11th annual Fluff Fest in the Czech Republic!! That screening went very well, and we will plan for a much larger film tour in Europe for next year.
We want to invite all to submit films. There is no submission fee or limit on number of films. We want your features, your shorts, your animations, your music videos, etc. We want this to be a diverse weekend of films of all genres, styles, and formats.
